PLOT: A STORY ABOUT TWO GIRLS WHO FALL IN LOVE AND HAVE TO RUN AWAY BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS THEM TO BE TOGETHER. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO LENA AND YULIA? WILL THEY EVER GO BACK HOME?

Yulia groaned as she turned off her alarm clock which was blaring Sex On Fire by Kings Of Leon, today she started her first day at her new school. She went to the bathroom and hung her new school uniform on the door and started to get ready. After her shower she put on her uniform which was a blue and black skirt, matching tie, white blouse and black shoes with long white socks. Yulia looked into the mirror and rubbed gel through her already messy hair spiking it up even more and put some mascara and eyeliner on and looked into her green eyes. She had a strange dream that night and she tried to remember it, she could vaguely remember, it was of her and a red haired girl and they were kissing and touching each other and Yulia remembering the mystery girl had made her feel like she had never felt before.
Her mums voice interrupted her day dream “Yulia hurry up or you’ll be late and I’m not driving you!” yelled Yulia’s mum Bec. “Yeah, yeah ok mum” answered Yulia. Yulia sighed, turned around and went down stairs to get breakfast. “Good morning sweetie, ready to start school?” smiled Bec, Yulia mumbled about not being hungry and grabbed her bag and left for school. It was a beautiful day so Yulia decided to walk to school since it was only 5 minutes away.
Yulia turned the corner and there it was, her new school. She walked up the path ignoring the stares from the other teens and went through the front office door. “Hi, my name is Yulia...Yulia Volkova and I’m a new student” she said to the office lady. “Hmm, Miss Volkova... ok here is your time table and you’re in room 103 for morning class” answered the office lady. With her new time table Yulia started to head to her class when all of a sudden she bumped into someone and fell to the ground. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" Yulia said at the shocked girl."Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see you there...umm...” Lena started to blush as the spiky dark haired girl stood up. "Oh...its all right...not your fau...” As her green eyes met blue, Yulia's mouth stayed open and she stood transfixed as if time stood still looking into the loveliest eyes that captured her whole being, there stood the most beautiful girl Yulia had ever seen, her long red hair swept over her shoulder. “I’m Lena by the way... and you are the new girl I presume?” “Yeah I am... My name is Yulia, nice to meet you” laughed Yulia. “Is this room 103?” “Yep and that means you’re in my class, I’ll show you around” smiled Lena
Lena was in most of Yulia’s classes and always sat next to her, through out the lessons Yulia couldn’t help sneak looks at this beautiful girl when Lena wasn’t looking. The day went too fast for Yulia’s liking and the next thing she knew she was walking home with Lena. As they got to Lena’s house Yulia got the courage to ask her for her mobile number. “Sure it’s 0456678039” smiled Lena while writing it down, Yulia also wrote down her number, they stood outside the front of Lena’s house for a few minutes looking into each other’s eyes not saying anything... “Uh... I better go I have a lot of homework to do” Yulia looked away shyly, “Oh...Ok sure see you tomorrow then” smiled Lena, Yulia started walking off home when Lena called out “Wait Yulia!” Yulia stopped and Lena ran towards her “I...ah...wanted to give you something before you left, I know we only met today but I feel a connection between us” whispered Lena as she then kissed Yulia on the lips, suddenly Yulia put her arms around Lena’s hips as they kissed. “Umm...ah...th..thanks” stammered Yulia as they pulled apart. “Oh I’m really sorry Yulia...please forgive me” Lena said. “No don’t worry about it I should really go now” Yulia walked off.
When Yulia got home she locked her door and lay on the bed, closed her eyes remembering the kiss. What did this mean? Did Lena really like her? What do I do now? Yulia thought. She got up and grabbed her mobile and started to message Lena... Lena, it’s Yulia about before... it’s fine I really liked that. Do you like me? Where will this go? I really like you and have liked you since I bumped into you. Lena was in the shower when she heard her message tone on her phone go off I wonder who that could be? Lena thought as she hopped out of the shower and grabbed her mobile. Lena’s eyes widened as she read the message from Yulia, she finished reading and grabbed her jacket and went round to Yulia’s house. Lena got out the piece of paper Yulia wrote her address on and looked at the number on the house it was defiantly Yulia’s. Lena didn’t know where Yulia’s bedroom was so she sent a message to her phone. Yulia, I got your message and I’m outside your house. Where is your bedroom window I don’t want to wake your parents. Lena xox. Yulia looked at her mobile and realized there was a message from Lena and she gasped and ran to put on clothes. Yulia sent back a message and then Lena was at her window. “Hey, Yulia how are you?” whispered Lena not wanting to wake her parents Yulia locked the door but didn’t turn on the light. “Hey wha...what are you doing here?” Yulia looked into Lena’s eyes shocked. “I got your message and I have come to answer it in person and I didn’t want to wait until tomorrow” smiled Lena as she took a seat on Yulia’s bed.
Yulia sat next to Lena and held her hand. “So what does this mean?” “Yulia I really like you and I want to be with you forever” whispered Lena into the girl’s ear. Yulia lent over and kissed Lena on the lips, “I like you too Lena”. Soon both girls where in locked in a passionate kiss while Yulia moved her hands all over Lena exploring her body. I don’t know where to begin... I mean how could you?” Bec looked at her daughter. “Mum. Lena and I love each other and no one will stop us.” Yulia started to get angry. “I’m sorry but you can’t see Lena anymore and if you try you will be sent to your fathers” Bec yelled at Yulia. “Fuck you ma, you can’t tell me how to run my life. Lena and I fucking love each other just because we are both girls doesn’t mean it’s wrong” Yulia yelled back at her mother. Yulia ran from the room and slammed her bedroom door, Lena ran after her “Yulia, baby wait!” called Lena after Yulia.
Lena knocked softly on the bedroom door and entered. Yulia was standing in the middle of her room chucking clothes into a suitcase, “Come on Lena let’s get out of here” Yulia sobbed. Lena walked over to Yulia and pulled her into a hug. “Yulia let’s go to Moscow and find an apartment there, I’ll go home and pack my stuff too and tell my mum.” Lena said, “I’ll meet you outside my house in 15 minutes” and Lena left.
When Lena got home she packed her bag and sat her mum down and told her everything. “Oh...Lena I don’t know what to say I never thought you’d do this and I can’t believe you betray me and are lesbian. Where will you go?” Miika said to Lena. “I can’t tell you mum but Yulia and I don’t belong here and obviously you and her mother don’t want us here” Lena slammed the front door and walked to Yulia’s house where Yulia was waiting with her suitcase and car keys.
“You can drive?” Lena asked. “Yeah I got my P’s a month ago” Yulia answered. They got in the car and headed off to Moscow. Yulia put in a CD and turned on their favourite song Heaven by DJ Sammy “This is our type of song” laughed Lena. “Are you hungry?” Yulia looked at Lena. “Yeah can we stop off somewhere?” Lena answered. Yulia turned into KFC and they ordered food and parked while they ate. “Lena...is this what you want?” Yulia turned to Lena. “Of course it is Yulia I love you and nothing can stop me from loving you. Is it what you want?” Lena smiled at Yulia. “Definitely, I love you too Lena.” 20 minutes later they where back on the road looking for a place to stay for the night. Yulia pulled into a hotel about 1 hour later. “Wake up baby where here” Yulia kissed Lena on the lips to wake her up. Lena stirred and got out of the car and headed to the hotel room
Yulia went to the bed and lay down next to Lena and they started kissing passionately. “Lena I want to make love to you” Yulia whispered in Lena’s ear. The next day they went shopping and also on the way they stopped to look at dress shops. They went to a fertility store and decided to check it out. “Yulia I want to try for a baby” Lena asked. “Yeah I’d like that a little boy or girl running around.” They walked up to the front desk, “Hi, umm... we would like to try for a baby” Yulia told the receptionist. “Ok we just need you to fill out this form and I’ll be right back with some sperm.” The receptionist told Yulia and Lena.
In a few weeks Lena went to the corner supermarket to get a pregnancy test, she rushed home and used it straight away. The next 5 minutes was anxious for Lena and Yulia. “What is it? Are we having a baby?” Yulia asked curious. “I’m sorry but it is negative baby” sobbed Lena. “Don’t worry we can try again another time Hun” Yulia hugged Lena.
3 months later
Ring...Ring “I’ll get it!” called Lena. “Hello?” “Hello is this Lena Katina?” “Yes speaking” “This is Ivan from Enterprize Music Industry and I would like you and Miss Volkova to come to my studio to record a song” “H..how did this happen?” stammered Lena in suprise. “Well I have heard you girl’s singing in a band called Neopdsy and I have a song for you to sing, so will you sing?” “Ok sure we’ll be right there” Lena thanked Ivan and called Yulia. “Hey Yulia a guy called Ivan just phoned and said he wanted us to record a song this afternoon...what do you think?” “Yeah that sounds great I’ll be right home so we can go there ok?” Yulia hung up and jumped in the air she was so excited that she and Lena were going to record a song.
Lena and Yulia walked into Ivan’s office. “Hello Mr. Ivan” Said Yulia. “Hello Miss Volkova...Miss Katina” Ivan then asked the girls to go to the recording studio and gave them lyrics to the song they will be singing. “Oh and also after we have recorded the demon I would like you to stay for a photo shoot” Ivan told the girl’s. “By the way how old are you both again?” asked Ivan. “We are both 17 Mr Ivan.” Yulia said politely.
Lena and Yulia spent 4 hours recording their new song All The Things She Said and they finally put it onto a CD but it was just a demo. Next the girls went to the next room and went to the dressing room and saw their clothes they had to wear. They had to wear a school uniform which consisted of a short black and red chequered skirt and matching tie, white blouse, black shoes and white socks. “These look like our school uniform but different colours” laughed Lena. “Yeah but these are hot” Yulia also laughed. They got changed and went to the photo shoot room.
Ivan made them take a lot of photos of them kissing, hugging, holding hands, laying on laps and lots more. 2 hours later they got changed and went home. When they got home they put on their demo CD and was amazed to hear their voices. All the things she said, all the things she said, running through my head, running through my head.....
“Wow we sound so good, I love it.” laughed Yulia. “Yeah it does sound great, I love our voices together” Lena also laughed. “We better be off to bed because we have another long day tomorrow Ivan said we have more photo shoots, interviews and we are finishing our CD” Lena yawned. “Ok, goodnight baby” Yulia also yawned.
The next day Yulia and Lena had to go to an interview right after their photo shoot.

I = So Lena, Yulia you are only 17 years old how did you come to be known as t.A.T.u?
L = Well ah actually we got a call from Ivan saying he wanted us to record a song because her heard us singing in our band Neopdsy and we went to his office and started recording our first song All The Things She Said.
I = Ok so what exactly does t.A.T.u stand for?
Y = t.A.T.u stands for This Girl Loves That Girl
I = Great. Now I understand you two are together? What is the reaction of people when they see you kissing?
Y = Yes we are together and we don’t care how people react as long as we are happy. And I will always love Lena. After Yulia said that she leaned over and kissed Lena on the lips.
I = Oh wow, ok, now just one last question. I hear you will be making a video clip for All The Things She Said? Now when will it be released?
L= Yeah we haven’t started it yet I think we are going to after this interview. As soon as it is done I think we will release it.

After their interview they went back to the recording studio and Ivan was there. “Great interview girls. Are you ready to start on your film clip?” Ivan said. “Yeah we are so excited about it” laughed Yulia. They outside and got dressed for their film clip which was what they wore for their photo shoot the school uniform.
“Ok girls now can I get you to stand behind the fence and water will be pouring over you for rain and you will be singing this song to parents and students outside the fence also you will be kissing each other” called Ivan. “Ok. Ready?. Action!” yelled Ivan. The girls started singing and kissing all the while water was poured over them. Now it was a pretty cold day in Moscow but it didn’t stop the girls. “Cut! That was great now dry off, get some sleep and we’ll fix it tomorrow” Ivan yelled after 3 hours.
“I’m so tired and cold” yawned Lena. “Me too, let’s have a shower” Yulia told Lena. They got into the warm shower and washed each other. “I love you Lena.” Yulia said while kissing Lena. “I love you too Yulia” Lena answered back also with a kiss. They got out and went to bed. “Goodnight baby.” Yulia whispered.
The next few days the girls finished their video and have made 3 songs for their album 200km/h In The Wrong Lane. The 3 songs All The Things She Said, Show Me Love and Not Gonna Get Us were the girl’s favourite songs. 3 months later they went to America to promote their new album and they started to tour.
“Happy Birthday Yulia!” yelled Lena as Yulia came into the room. “Thanks Lena. Are you ready?” smiled Yulia. “Yep let’s go I can’t wait our first concert” said Lena. The crowed cheered as the music for All The Things She Said started and the girls came out in their school uniform. Half way through the song the girls pashed in front of the crowd and the crowd went wild as this was the first group to show their love for each other openly on stage. 2 hours later the girls finished their concert with Stars and then they had to go back stage to meet VIP people and sign autographs. It was another long day for the girls but they enjoyed every minute. “That was an awesome concert I’m glad I decided to run away with you Yulia.” Lena held Yulia’s hand as they waited to go to their room. “Me too. It has been a great 18th birthday” Yulia smiled back. “Oh I almost forgot to give you your present I have two for you.” Laughed Lena, Yulia unwrapped the box Lena gave her and inside it was a beautiful emerald teardrop necklace with diamonds. “It’s so beautiful thank you” smiled Yulia. “I have one other thing” Lena smiled cheekily. Lena took Yulia’s hand and led her too the bed and lay her down and made love to her. 15 minutes later Yulia looked over at Lena by her side “That was the best birthday present ever” laughed Yulia as she kissed Lena on the forehead. “Happy Birthday Yulia.” Lena said before she fell asleep with her head resting on Yulia’s shoulder.
3 days later it was Lena’s 18th and Yulia took Lena to Paris. “Happy Birthday Lena” smiled Yulia. “I’m taking you to the most expensive French restaurant in Pairs then we will go up the tower” Yulia said. Lena had a great day full of fun and laughter she was sad to leave Paris but Yulia promised they would come back someday. “This has been a really great day Yulia, well I guess we have to go back to work.” laughed Lena. When the girls got back they met Ivan for lunch and he told they girls how well they done. “:Well done girls you were great, now you know you have another photo shoot today and don’t forget you have a maths class at 1pm.” Ivan told the girls. “Aww I hate maths” Yulia complained, “Don’t worry Yulia I’ll be there” laughed Lena at Yulia’s face. They went off to their photo shoot.
I wonder what type of photo shoot it is this time wondered Lena as she walked into the room. “Ok girls today you will be doing a photo shoot for Maxim Magazine. If you could please take your clothes off except you underwear and stand in the centre there. The photographer told the girls. The girls took off their clothes and stood in the middle of the room feeling kind of shy because they had never done this type of photo shoot before. “Now Lena put your arms around Yulia’s back and Yulia put your arms up covering Lena and yourself and go in for a kiss but don’t actually kiss” Instructed the photographer. The photographer took 20 shots all from different angles before they changed poses. “Now Lena go behind Yulia and put your arms around Yulia and make sure your hands are covering Yulia’s boobs and Yulia put your right hand behind your head and put your left and on your hip with your thumb in your underwear and lean back to almost kiss Lena” the photographer instructed the girls again. The photo shoot took nearly all day but in the end the photos were amazing. In the finished product Yulia noticed the photographer had put a tattoo on her lower back. “Wow I really like that I think I will go and get that as an actual tattoo. What do you think Lena?” Yulia said in amazement. “I think it looks really great, let’s go now” Lena said.
They went off to the tattoo parlour and Yulia ended up getting two tattoos and a nose piercing. Yulia got the lower back tattoo which was an Arabic symbol of love and she got another one in between her shoulder blades. “That looks so good on you Yuli” Lena commented. “Thanks Leni” smiled Yulia using her pet name for Lena.
2 years later they have made two CDs, been to about 200 concerts, done a lot of interviews, tons of photo shoots and won 40 awards for their music including best album of the year and best artist of the year. At 20 years old Yulia and Lena decided to try for another baby, this time they were successful and on the 20th November Elinka Lena Volkova was born. Even though having a child was hard work sometimes they still managed to tour their latest concert was to promote their new single 220. Three days before they had to go to Japan for their concert they had another interview with Elite Magazine.
I = So girls welcome, and congratulations on all the awards you have gotten.
L = Thank you we are very happy to be here.
I = Now Yulia I hear you have had a little girl. What is her name?
Y = Yes my daughter’s name is Elika

Y = Yes we had to cancel one show in America because I couldn’t sing as my voice was really sore and strained. Also I do NOT lip sing that was just a rumour and yes we have been on stage in our underwear and bra’s but that is our decision.
I = I see. Ok now one last question before we go. Do you think you girl’s are role models for young girls? Also good luck on your tour and congratulations again.
L = Umm yeah I guess we could be role models I mean we aren’t doing anything wrong we are just letting people know that if you are lesbian you belong here and no one can take that away from you. Thank you.

“I didn’t like that reporter asking those questions” Lena commented after they went back to their trailer. “Neither did I. Did you see her face when we said we had a baby together it’s like she thought it was disgusting or something?” Yulia commented back. “I no that was wrong of her we love each other and it is not wrong that we have a child together.” Lena said nearly close to tears. “Don’t worry everything will be alright” Yulia went over to hug Lena. “I love you Lena and I always will love you and Elinka” smile Yulia as she pushed Lena’s red hair off her face. “Me too Yulia I love you” Lena smiled and gave one last sob, dried her eyes and went to feed Elinka.
The next morning Lena woke to Elinka’s cries. “I’ll get her” whispered Lena. “Ok baby, then come back and get some sleep” Yulia whispered back. When they woke up properly they went off to another photo shoot this time with Elinka.
“Ok girl’s now Yulia can we get you to stand up facing backwards with Elinka on your shoulder and look behind you Yulia. And Lena could we get you facing forward with your arms around Yulia and Elinka.” Instructed the photographer. The girl’s did as they were told and they had to do a lot of different poses including another naked one. “Ok that was great girl’s I’ll see you again in 3 weeks.” Smiled the photographer.
“What a long day” Yulia said exhausted. “Yep and we still have to record another song, so let’s get going to Ivan’s.” Lena said also exhausted. They got to their recording studio and got ready to sing their second single White Robe from their upcoming album Waste Management. The girl’s went in and looked over their words and started singing. Feeling ugly looking pretty, Yellow ribbons black graffiti, sun is painted in the corner but it’s never getting warmer. Lena started to sing. It was a beautiful song but sad at the same time. After an hour and a half they stopped singing and Ivan said they could go home but they have to come back tomorrow early morning to finish the song.
When they got home they had an email from a fan asking for help. Yulia read it out loud to Lena.

Hope you guy’s are well. I love your music and I love the fact that you can tell the public you are together and show your affection. I would like your help on something if you could. Well my girlfriend and I have been together only for a few weeks and it is really hard because we get a lot of comments at school, we get bashed and stared at all the time and now our parents know and they don’t want us to be together so we want to run away we want to be together because we love each other.

“Oh wow I can’t believe it that is exactly what we went through” Lena gasped. “Yeah we did. How can we help her I mean we don’t want to be responsible of tearing their families apart and take them from their family? Yulia questioned. “I think we should write back and tell her everything will be fine” Lena said. So Lena got on the computer and sent back an email.

I’m glad you like our music and thank you for being loyal fans. Now about your problem, Yulia and I had the same trouble when we were younger and we did run away but I think you should just ignore the things people say and explain to your parents that it is a natural thing for two girls to love each other. Also you should go see a councillor about the beatings and perhaps talk to your principle. I hope it all works out for you. We have sent you our two CD’s and a poster including our daughter Elinka. Hope you stay a fan of us thank you for your support.

“There hopefully that will help” smiled Lena. “Great letter Lena, so how about we go to bed” winked Yulia. “Ooh ok” smiled Lena cheekily.
In March 2008 they got a call saying would they like to make a film and of course they said yes. “Hey Lena what is the name of the film and what is it about” Yulia asked Lena one day. “It’s called You and I and is based on our book t.A.T.u Come Back.” Lena answered. “So it’s about two young girl’s who fall in love and having to struggle with the world to keep their love for each other.” Yulia said. “Yep and we start tomorrow I think one of the actors it going to be Misha Barton” Lena said.
The next day they started filming and then went to finish recording their songs for their new album including Fly On The Wall, Running Blind, You and I and Vremya Luny. Songs from their album will be featured in their film, and they also changed the name of their album to Happy Smiles and the front cover features an astronaut. “I can’t wait until we finish the movie it’s going to be great” said Yulia while waiting for Lena to get ready to go out.
The next night they had another concert to go to in Moscow. “Hey what do you think if we did Not Gonna Get Us first instead of All The Things She Said?” Lena asked Yulia while getting ready. “Yeah it would be fine. I’ll go tell the Tech guys. Yulia ran off to tell them to change song. When Yulia was gone Lena sat down and started to cry. What kind of girlfriend am I? I can’t even tell Yulia I have cancer and I don’t want to frighten her. I don’t know what I should do. Would my career be over? Would she leave me? I think I should tell her tonight after the concert. “You ready Leni we’re on in 3 minutes” Yulia called. Lena wiped her tears and got up to stand side stage. The music for Not Gonna Get Us started as the girls walked out onto the brightly lit stage. Not gonna get us, Their not gonna get us.... Yulia started to sing. The concert went well and the girls headed off to their hotel room. Yulia had Elinka with a baby sitter that night. Lena took Yulia’s hand and led her to sit on the bed. “Yulia I have something to tell you” Lena said quietly. “What is it baby? Something wrong?” Yulia asked concerned. “I don’t know how to tell you this.... but I have cancer.” Lena put her face in her hands and started to cry. “Oh my god!” was all Yulia could say. “Will you leave me?” Lena asked and took her girlfriend’s hand looking worried. “Of course not baby. I love you and I always will no matter what. We’ll get through this together. “Yulia said pulling Lena into a hug also crying. “I guess I have to tell Ivan I can’t sing for a while because I have to go for Chemo therapy tomorrow morning” Lena said. “I’ll call him now and tell him. I’ll stick by you Leni.” Yulia pulled Lena’s head up and looked into her eyes and wiped away her tears.
“Hello..” Ivan picked up the phone as it ringed. “Hello Ivan it’s Yulia” Yulia answered. “How may I help Yulia?” Ivan said. “Umm I’ve have called to say Lena has cancer and we would both like to take time off for a bit so she can go get treatment” Yulia’s voice shook. “Oh my god. I hope she’s ok. Sure anything you want, I’ll give you two months paid leave but tell me if you need more. Send my wishes.” Ivan said. “Thank you for understanding, will we have to tell the magazines.” Yulia asked a bit worried as she didn’t want everyone to know. “I’m afraid so Yulia I’m sure they would find out anyway you know what the press is like.” Ivan said also worried. “Thanks Ivan I’ll keep you updated” Yulia hung up and went to the kitchen where Lena was watching TV. “Ivan wishes you well, but we also have to tell the press as they would find out anyway.” Yulia told Lena.
The next day they went to the hospital in Moscow and Lena had her first round of treatment, all the while Yulia sat by her side holding her hand and telling her everything will be alright. At 2pm an interviewer came to the bed. “Hi girls I’ll keep this short as you must be tired.” The reporter smiled gently.
I = Interviewer, Y = Yulia, L = Lena.
I = Lena I’m very sorry to hear you have cancer. How long have you known about it?
L = I’ve known about it for about 3 weeks now.
I = Ok, now I hear you both are taking time off for now, How long have you planned?
Y = Well we have taken two months off for now as we don’t know what will happen but we hope Lena will get better and we will continue with everything.
I = I see. Now has this changed anything in your relationship or music career?
L = No it hasn’t. Yulia is sticking by me all through this and I am thankful and we still have our jobs. It can’t be helped.
I = Well girls I’ll leave you now. I hope you get better soon Lena.
L and Y = Thank you. Goodbye.
“Well that was alright” Lena said weakly. “You should get some sleep you look exhausted” Yulia said softly as she kissed Lena on the lips and left the room. “I’ll be back soon baby” Yulia said as she left.
Yulia went down the lift and to the gift shop to get some flowers for Lena. There was a fan in the shop and she asked how Lena was doing and if Yulia could give some flowers and a card to her. Yulia nodded and went back to the room. Lena was still sleeping and Yulia tip toed in and set the flowers down on the desk next to her. Yulia lay down next to Lena and put her arms around her. “I love you” Yulia whispered.
Over the two months Lena had more treatment and the doctors where getting hopeful that the cancer would clear. On the last treatment day the doctor had good news. “Lena you are cleared of all cancer you can go back to singing and touring” smiled the doctor. “That’s great, thank you.” Said Lena relived. “Thank you so much doc” Yulia beamed and kissed Lena on the lips. They called Ivan and he was over the moon. “You can come back to work in a few days.” Ivan said. “Ok see you then” Lena said and hung up the phone.
The next week the girls went on another tour and they had a heap of fans hugging Lena and happy to have them both back. They both got a ton of flowers from their fans wishing them well. They went back to recording and filming their movie.
In May 2008 they went to a movie premier to promote their movie hoping to release it in the fall.
“I can’t wait for our movie to be released it is so good” Yulia smiled holding Lena’s hand in the limo. “Me too” Lena gave Yulia’s hand a quick squeeze and the limo stopped and they got out. As soon as the girls got out of the limo fans were screaming their name a hundreds of cameras flashed. The girls waved and walked the red carpet into the building where they would perform one of the songs from their new album and movie called You and I.
Yulia and Lena went to the change room and got ready to go on stage. They sang the song and eventually got back to the hotel where they were staying. “Lena can I ask you something?” Yulia said suddenly. “Of course you can baby, what’s wrong?” Lena smiled warmly, “Are you cheating on me?” Yulia said softly. “What? Of course I’m not! How could you suggest such a thing?” Lena started to get angry. “Because I saw you with another girl the other day holding hands.” Tears ran silently down Yulia’s cheeks. “Oh Yuli, I love you and I always will you know that, I would never cheat on you. That was just a close friend of mine, I’m sorry if I hurt you and let me make it up to you.” Lena explained wiping Yulia’s tears. “Oh... I’m sorry I doubted you Lena. I love you too.” Yulia looked up into Lena’s eyes.
The next day Ivan called and asked the girl’s if they would do a T.V interview. “Yeah sure we will be right down” Yulia said and hung up the phone. Lena knocked on the door to Ivan’s office when they got there. “Come in girl’s and sit down. We would like to start straight away if you please” Ivan said. “Ok sure” Yulia smiled at the interviewer.

L = She likes New York, I like Las Angeles. I dunno why because I feel here really great like uh.. when I’m here of course I’m me. Of course I have homesick but not too much because when you come to the balcony and see all this view like ocean, towns, green grass and I dunno sun all over here and I dunno I like Las Angeles. I can relax there.

L = To be onstage, to take energy from them and to give them our energy is anazing to share with our audience

L = They are very happy for us they are our parents, they love us and their reaction was really great.

L = No we feel really great. We’re already crazy.
I = Was is difficult to sing in English?
L = Of course it was really.. a little bit hard, cause first time in English and before we only sang in Russian. She was crying because she can’t do all the stuff, the specific way to pronounce the words.
I = What is your song “Not Gonna Get Us” about?
L = Not Gonna Get Us is about of course us and is about high speed and danger and that we want to run away from everybody from our parents and all the people, from not understanding. So we run away
I = Do you think you will always be together? Will you always be known as t.A.T.u or go solo?
Y = Yes we will always be together because we love each other and we will always stay and be known as t.A.T.u.

When the interview was over Lena and Yulia went home. Later on in the night Lena got a call from her mum saying she and Bec would like to visit them, to see how they are. Lena arranged to meet them at a coffee shop the next day.
At the coffee shop Yulia and Lena waited anxiously for the arrival of their parents. “Don’t worry it should be fine and we can leave anytime.” Lena said to Yulia hugging her and holding her hand under the table. “Yulia! Lena!” called Bec and Miika. They walked over to them and sat down. “Hi…Yulia” Bec said awkwardly to her daughter. “Uhh..hi mum” Lena said to Miika. “Honey come home please. We miss you.” Miika said getting teary. “No mum. We can’t we belong here in Moscow and Yulia and I are famous now and we still have things to do.” Lena told her mum. “Oh Yulia why must you be with a woman who won’t let you do what you want?” Bec asked her daughter. “What?! Lena let’s me do what I like. We are famous now can are not going back. We would never let our fans down.” Yulia said angrily and got up and stormed off. “Wait Yulia!” Lena rushed after her. Lena found Yulia slumped against the wall in a small alleyway. “Oh I’m so sorry baby I didn’t think this would happen” Lena whispered and sat down next to Yulia and gave her a hug. “It’s ok babe, I should have known this would happen” Yulia said and wiped away her tears. “Let’s go home. We have a big day tomorrow Ivan would like us to record a 4th album.” Lena smiled.
The next day in the studio Yulia and Lena were reading the new lyrics to their first song of their new album “You and I Forever”. Every night I lay next to you and I feel your warm body, your warm breath…. Yulia started to sing out loud. “That sounds great Ivan” Lena said as they finished reading the lyrics. After about an hour and 30 minutes they went into the booth and started recording the song. “Great girls, we’ll see you tomorrow for another go before we finish it. And Lena if you could wait a bit and finish recording your song” Ivan told the girls beaming. Lena went into the booth while Yulia sat and listened to her sing. “Breathless I’m shaking just watching the game you play (play), I’ll give up forever to be in your heart today (today), Watching as everyone else get’s a piece of you (you), Knowing I’ll love you much more than they ever do (do), I miss you… I miss you… Lena sung the first verse. “Wow that was amazing” Yulia said as Lena finished the song. “Thanks babe” Lena smiled.
A few days later Ivan called Yulia and Lena and asked if they wanted to write a song with Flypsyde and in about an hour they were in the recording studio writing lyrics to their new song. “I thought I would write these lyrics myself this time and since I lost a baby a while ago I thought it would be a good idea to write about my feelings” Lena announced. “Are you sure hun? You don’t have to if you don’t want to” Yulia asked giving Lena a concerned look. “Yeah I’m fine. Nearly done I’ll just finish this sentence and I’ll show you” said Lena quietly wiping away a tear unnoticed by others.
Lena stood up a few minutes later and gave a photocopy of the lyrics to Ivan, Yulia and Flypsyde, “I hope this is alright” Lena said. Yulia read over the lyrics Lena handed to her and it brought a tear to her eye Lucky I’m wearing sunglasses Yulia thought as she quickly wiped away a tear running down her cheek. “These are great, ok let’s have a practice and then we can record” Ivan said putting a hand on Lena’s shoulder. They all went into the recording booth and started singing. Happy Birthday, so make a wish... Please except my apologies, wonder what would have been would you have been an angel? Or angel of sin? Flypsyde started singing. After they finished Ivan got them to record. After 4 hours they stopped and sat down. “Great guys now we can just touch it up and in a few weeks we can release this as a new single.” Ivan smiled. After another hour they said their goodbyes and Yulia and Lena headed off home.
The next day when Yulia and Lena were getting ready to go to the studio Yulia had an idea for the new song they were singing. “Hey hun how about if we sing some of the lyrics from Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson at the start of the song because it fits in perfectly?” Yulia asked Lena. Lena thought about it and when they got to the studio Lena and Yulia told Ivan and he agreed so Lena went of to record but after 15 minutes Lena stopped. “Everything ok Lena?” Ivan asked. “Yeah it is but I would like Yulia to sing it as well please” Lena looked over to where her girlfriend was standing. “Oh ok... are you sure?” Yulia asked in surprise. “Yes I am please babe this would mean a lot to me.” Lena grabbed Yulia’s hand and pulled her into the booth and they both started singing. Here I am once again I’m torn into pieces, can’t deny it can’t pretend just thought you where the one. Broken up deep inside but you won’t get to see the tears I cry. Behind these Hazel Eyes. After they finished the song Ivan thought it was ready to be recorded and 1 hour later they were done and it was ready to be released as the new single.
“Girl’s I would like you to record Zachem Ya and Nas Ne Degoniat again if you don’t mind so we can add it to the new album” Ivan asked Yulia and Lena the next day. “Yeah sure Ivan when do you want us to start?” Lena asked. “Today if you don’t mind and also don’t forget you have rehearsals for your concert in 2 weeks.” Ivan said. Yulia took Lena’s hand and went to the recording booth to start singing Zachem Ya. Skazhi zachem ya zhdu zvonka. Zachem nemye oblaka.... Lena sung into the microphone. After they recorded both songs Yulia and Lena headed to their rehearsals for their concert.
2 Weeks Later
“I’m still nervous even though we have done a lot of concerts” Lena said with a nervous smile towards Yulia, Yulia looked up from applying her eyeliner and walked over to her girlfriend and gave her a kiss “It’s ok it will all be over in a few hours and just think of the response of the fans” Yulia smiled down at Lena. Malchik Gay, Malchik Gay Malchik Malchik Gay! The screaming of the fans was overwhelming as Yulia and Lena came on stage singing Malchik Gay the concert was really good and the fans kept in high spirits and as they ended their concert with Not Gonna Get Us the fans went wild. “That was great” Yulia puffed as she sat down backstage.
“Lena can you help me straighten my hair” Yulia called. Lena walked into the bathroom and there was her girlfriend in a black singlet and black boy-leg underwear, tangled in the cord of the straightner trying to see the back of her hair. “Here let me do that” laughed Lena. Lena took the straightner off Yulia, untangled her from it and set to work straightening the back of her girlfriend’s hair. “Thanks Lena you’re the best” Yulia said and turned around to kiss her girlfriend. “OUCH!” Yulia yelled suddenly, “Sorry babe but you know better than to move while I’m doing your hair” Lena said rubbing Yulia’s head where she burnt it. After Lena finished Yulia started to apply her make up when all of a sudden Lena put her arms around Yulia’s hips and pulled her underwear off. “Hey!” Yulia laughed and spun around. Lena grinned cheekily and started to remove Yulia’s singlet and then unclipped her bra. Lena got undressed and pulled Yulia into the shower and turned on the water and kissed her passionately. Yulia grabbed the soap and started washing Lena on the back. Yulia pushed Lena against the wall of the shower and started kissing her while running her hands up and down Lena. “You’re so hot” mumbled Yulia into Lena’s neck while kissing, Lena put her arms around Yulia and gave her a long pash. Lena then ran her fingers up and down Yulia’s thigh and circled her private part. “Lucky the water’s warm I’m getting goose bumps” Yulia laughed. Lena turned off the water and grabbed a towel from the rail and wrapped herself and Yulia in it. “Hey! We were just getting started” Yulia said. “Well dry off and we can go to the bedroom where it will be more comfy.” Lena said rubbing down Yulia and herself.
